The future of immersive technology in Malawi has officially reached a major milestone. Today, the XR Training program, hosted by UniPod Malawi in collaboration with XRer Limited, proudly celebrated the completion of its very first cohort!

It has been an intense, creative, and rewarding journey, and seeing our participants evolve from curious learners into certified XR creators has been nothing short of inspiring.

The Final Leap: Building with Unity
To wrap up their training, the first cohort took a deep dive into Unity for Virtual Reality. This wasn't just a lecture—it was a full-throttle, hands-on development session. Participants mastered the essentials of building immersive worlds, including:

VR Project Setup: Navigating the industry-standard engine for VR development.

Scene Exploration: Learning how to move, interact, and manipulate objects within a 360-degree digital space.

Practical Development: Bridging the gap between 3D assets and a fully functional, interactive VR experience.

The highlight of the day was the Certification Ceremony. After days of hard work, creative problem-solving, and technical growth, participants were officially awarded their certificates for successfully completing the XR Training short course.
