Double the Talent, Double the Impact: Cohort 2 Graduates!
The XR revolution at UniPod Malawi has officially doubled its strength! On April 5, 2026, we reached a major milestone as we concluded the final session for Cohort 2, marking the successful completion of our collaborative training program with XRer Limited.
From the first 3D model to the final VR build, the journey has been a masterclass in creativity and technical growth.
The Final Frontier: Immersive Development in Unity
Just like their predecessors, the innovators of Cohort 2 spent their final day immersed in Unity for Virtual Reality. This wasn't just about learning software; it was about mastering the tools that bring virtual worlds to life. Key highlights included:
Project Architecture: Setting up robust VR environments from the ground up.
Interactive Design: Coding the mechanics that allow users to touch, move, and engage with the digital world.
Immersion Testing: Transitioning from the computer screen to the headset to experience their creations firsthand.
A New Class of Certified Creators 🏆
The atmosphere was electric as we moved into the Certification Ceremony. Participants from Cohort 2 were officially awarded their certificates, joining a growing community of skilled XR developers in Malawi.
Throughout the training, this group has shown incredible engagement and curiosity, proving that the appetite for advanced technology like Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality is stronger than ever.
"Seeing the progress from day one to graduation is a testament to the talent in our tech community. Cohort 2 has stepped up to the challenge, and the results are inspiring."
Looking Beyond the Classroom
With both cohorts now officially trained, the real work begins. We are incredibly proud of every participant who took this leap into the future. We don’t just expect to see these skills used—we expect to see them transform industries across Malawi and beyond.
Whether it’s developing training simulations, interactive educational tools, or the next big immersive game, these graduates are now equipped to lead the way.
A huge congratulations to Cohort 2! You’ve earned it. 👏
