For the 2024 and 2025 Trade Fairs, the Electricity Generation Company (Malawi) Limited (EGENCO) had a clear mission: to show Malawi how the nation is diversifying its power sources.

To help them tell that story, we didn't just build one model—we brought the dual pillars of Malawi's energy future to life through high-precision Hydroelectric and Solar scale models.

1. Harnessing the River: The Hydro Models
Hydroelectric power is the backbone of our national grid. However, the engineering involved in dams and turbines is often hidden underground or behind massive concrete walls. Our scale models stripped away the mystery, allowing visitors to see:

The intake and flow of water.

The positioning of powerhouses in relation to the river.

The sheer scale of the civil engineering required to power our homes and industries.

2. Capturing the Sun: The Solar Models
As Malawi moves toward a greener future, EGENCO’s solar initiatives are more important than ever. Solar farms cover vast areas of land, making them difficult to appreciate from ground level. Our solar models provided a "drone-view" perspective, featuring:

Precision-aligned solar arrays: Showing the layout of photovoltaic panels across the landscape.

Inverter and Substation detail: Highlighting how sunlight is converted and sent to the national grid.

Integration: Demonstrating how solar works alongside hydro to ensure a steady power supply.

Why This Matters for EGENCO
At the 2024 and 2025 exhibitions, these models did more than just look good. they served as educational tools. They allowed EGENCO engineers to explain complex concepts—like "peak loading" and "renewable integration"—to everyone from government officials to school students.

Your Vision, Our Craft
Whether you are showcasing traditional infrastructure or the latest in renewable technology, our models bridge the gap between technical complexity and public engagement. We don't just build miniatures; we build understanding.
